At the start of SoD some of our guild wanted to go Alliance while another portion wanted to go Horde. The core of both sides has experience running multiple 40man, 25man, and 10man raid teams from Vanilla Classic through Wrath and completed all content heroic/non, which includes Alliance 1st through top 20 Server. We also have experience in speed running both in Vanilla and TBC content.

At our core though, we're a bunch of laid-back nerds looking to strike a balance between pushing content while having a good time. We believe that having a great community that looks out for each other and pushes each other to play better is the core of having a successful guild. We are always looking for more players that share that similar mindset.

Our goal is to raid efficiently and provide a good community for players of all ranges. As such we put a large emphasis on the community aspect of the guild and the happiness of our players within the guild. Because of this many of our players have been with us since the beginning. We love to hang out and do dungeons, world PvP, BGs, raids, and everything in between.

Guild Expectations

• Have a positive mentality when it comes to raiding and participating within the guild.

• Be courteousness to both players within and outside the guild.

• Be a team player and have a team-first mentality.

• Maintain 90%+ attendance and look to min/max where possible.

• Have an improvement mentality, looking to improve each week.

• Learn from your mistakes and seek guidance from other members.

• Be open to constructive criticism.

Loot

MS>OS + RR (Round Robin) Currently in 20m, we are running a Main Spec over Off Spec loot system with Round Robin. This means everyone should receive something for their main spec, then pass to the next person in line who hasn't received loot. We do not equip items until the end of the raid, this makes swapping items or trading with other players easier. We want to emphasize that loot drama will not be tolerated in Season of Discovery. We trust our members to uphold this policy and any loot hoarding or drama will result in removal from the guild.
